SECOND TITLE WORDS, QUOTE, OR NAME SECOND SUBTITLE WORDS, QUOTE, SOMETHING BACKGROUNDWorld: -Way back when the world was in its early stages, there existed nothing but abstract entities -They ruled the world for who knows how long doing their thang and generally just playing out that classic game of "small thing eaten by bigger thing" -Then humans came along! -Exposure to humans affected these abstract entities, giving them personalities and minds of their own as they reflected back the desires and dreams of the humans who approached them -Some of these entities grew until they were so strong humans called them gods -Like, a lot of them grew that strong. and this was bad for both sides! -These entities wound up fighting against one another with the world as collateral which was no bueno. some good-natured gods perished in the conflict -UNTIL ONE DAY a human bound with one of the entities appeared and thrashed them all 8') -Entities were relegated back to the corners of the world, choosing to hide and avoid the powerful combo lest they get wiped out too -Bound human & entity created a new age where humans and benevolent "spirits" (a.k.a weak entities/gods) could live amongst one another -Human society begins to develop in earnest now that the entity kind/humankind are mostly separated -As humanity becomes stronger the power of gods begin to fade Realm of the Gods -The battleground where all this happened is known as the "Realm of the Gods", which is where all the remnants & leftovers of the gods from the conflict can be found -They are called "Fallen Gods": old gods who had been defeated and scattered -Most gods are super-dead mind you, it's kind of like a haunted landscape filled with fog and winding paths lined with lanterns -It's only safe to traverse the Realm of the Gods if the lanterns are lit, which requires a payment at the gates (better payment = longer lasting light) -Lots of scavenger gods & bottom-feeding entities hungry for power live there so it's kind of a dangerous place -Humans avoid this place unless they're really desperate!! So what about THIS HUNK OF A DADDY HUH well -Luciel was one of the old entities which became strong in the early days -He was a parasitic sort of entity who got his power from preying off of humans until he was strong enough to start picking off other entities -He was considered one of the biggest and most powerful in the territory he occupied -But then he done hecked up by devouring someone who mattered a lot of a certain human -A human he didn't think anything of at the time bc who thinks about humans amirite -Only that human would go on to bind themselves to another Very Powerful entity because of what Luciel did -Making Luciel one of the first gods to be defeated by the bound human whoops 8') -Defeated and desperate to survive, he spent a long long HECKIN' LONG TIME trying to piece himself back together and by the end of it he was like you know what im tired And he decided that regaining his former power after centuries spent scraping the bottom of the barrel was too much and he'd really rather just be alive and maybe even sleep for a million years soLuciel retired to the human realm hoping he could live the ever-coveted " PERSONALITYHe considers his kingpin entity days where he was all about the PowerTM to be super-embarrassing pls don't bring it up ever Tired old daddy ABILITIESLuce is a Fallen God, which means that he's lost so much of his power that he can't be considered a real 'god' anymore. He's physically stronger than your average human, but he's given up his "god" form in favour of adopting a human one. Not abstract anymore babey!!!! A few abilities he does retain include:
